Women’s Lacrosse

CUWLC celebrated a double league victory on Wednesday, with their Blues and Kingfishers beating Bristol and Nottingham respectively to consolidate their places at the top of their BUCS leagues. Whilst the Blues ran away with the score, leaving Bristol little room to fight back, the Cambridge 2nds ended the first half with an even scoreline – a resurgence in energy and beautiful team play allowed them to put the ball in the back of the net again and again, bewildering their guests.

Pole Dancing

The Cambridge University Pole Society perfumed impressively in the inter-university regional heats, and whilst they did not continue into the next round, they returned with a bronze and gold medal. Despite being a relatively unknown sport in Cambridge, the team were not deterred by other university squads’ ‘impossibly bendy warm-ups’ and enjoyed a successful competition.
